Fred Wright was born on Feb. 4, 1985. He was 13 years old when he went missing from Tuskegee, Alabama, and despite the efforts of local authorities, his whereabouts are still unknown more than two decades later.
There are a few details available in Fred’s case, but what has been reported is that on the evening of Dec. 6, 1998, he vanished without a trace.
An adult male, whose identity and relation to Fred are unclear, was apparently the last person to see Fred inside his home before he went missing.
The circumstances leading up to the teen’s disappearance are unknown.
Fred is described as a Black or African American male with dark hair and brown eyes. He was five-foot-nine and weighed 115 pounds when he disappeared.
He also has a mole that is located in the neck and shoulder area, and he has a chipped front tooth.
If Fred were found alive today, he would be in his late 30s.
An age-progression photo shows what Fred looked like when he was 32 years old.
The teen is classified as an endangered missing child.
