Janet Ann Kramer was born on June 3, 1957. She was 13 years old when she went missing from Willmar, Minnesota, more than five decades ago, and despite the efforts of local authorities, her whereabouts are still unknown.
There are a few details available in Janet’s case, but what has been reported is that she was living in a group home for girls when, on Jan. 1, 1971, she left to visit her family.
According to the West Central Tribune, Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office Detective Kent Bauman stated that her family has not heard or seen her since her visit.
Janet was then reported missing as a runaway.
She is described as a white or Caucasian female with brown, shoulder-length hair and hazel eyes.
When she was last seen, Janet was five feet tall, weighed between 110 and 120 pounds, and may have been wearing glasses. It has also been reported that sometime before she vanished, she broke her arm, specifically at the elbow.
If Janet were to be found alive today, she would be in her late 60s.
An age-progression photo shows what Janet would have looked like when she was 61 years old.
