Joanne Marie Rulford was 24 years old when she went missing from her home in Hennepin County, Minnesota, and despite the efforts of local authorities, her whereabouts are still unknown more than 30 years later.
On the morning of Nov. 1, 1988, Rulford sent her children off to school. When they returned, she wasn’t at the bus stop to greet them, nor was she inside their residence in Minneapolis.
Other than her children, no one had seen or heard from Rulford after she attended a party that was held at her home the previous day, according to NamUs, and because of that, she was, therefore, reported missing.
There are a few details available in Rulford’s case, but officials do know that she was born on Jan. 13, 1964, and it was alleged that she had attended North High School.
At the time of her disappearance, Rulford had black hair and brown eyes. She was also 4’11 and weighed 145 pounds.
Anyone with information regarding the disappearance of Joanne Marie Rulford is encouraged to contact the Minneapolis Police Department at (612) 673-5701.
