Linda Green was 27 years old when she was murdered more than 25 years ago in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the person responsible for her death has yet to be brought to justice.
On the morning of Nov. 1, 1991, the body of an adult female was found in the back seat of a car that was parked next to a canal in the 600 Block of E. Harbor Drive South, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.
Law enforcement officers identified the victim as Green, who died from a gunshot wound.
The make and model of the vehicle in which she was found have not been released, nor have her age, occupation, or place of residency.
There are a few details available in Green’s case, which is now being investigated by the St. Petersburg Police Department.
As of yet, law enforcement officers have not received any information that could lead to the suspect’s identity.
Investigators have worked diligently to find Green’s killer, but ultimately, the case turned cold.
