Carolyn Bolling was 22 years old when she was murdered. Her body was found in Pensacola, Florida, more than 45 years ago, and the person responsible for her death has yet to be brought to justice.
There are a few details available in Bolling’s case, but what has been reported by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is that on the morning of March 7, 1972, Bolling was found dead in her home.
She lived in the Cooks Court area near North Palafox Street between Fairfield Drive and Massachusetts Avenue.
The cause of death has not been released to the public, but her death is being investigated as a homicide.
Bolling, a member of the Baptist Church, was originally from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, but she lived in Pensacola for eight years.
She was a widow and the mother of a young boy.
Bolling was buried at the Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, The Pensacola News reported.
